SOS Response is a privately owned company based in the UK.

Originally incorporated in 2002 the company developed a range of telecommunications solutions for emerging new markets.

As early adopters of Location Based Services we established ourselves as a leading provider of technology consultancy services for communication, healthcare and security solutions to the private and public sectors.

Through this consultative approach Hampshire Constabulary and the University of Portsmouth asked us to design and develop a system to reduce cycle theft when parked in the street!

In 2007 we designed and developed the WASP Cycle Monitoring System, it was installed in Portsmouth and during a 12 week trial we reduced cycle crime by 92%, this was based on year on year results.

In 2008 we won an Award for Innovation from the UK Home office Scientific Development Branch.

To date the system is being rolled out, protecting bikes and other assets Worldwide.
